Life can be especially difficult for elderly Tibetans in exile. For many of the older generation, who were born in Tibet and fled after the 1959 Uprising, their old way of life is utterly annihilated and now in retirement they are facing extreme poverty and ill health, without family to support them.

Your support will enable them to receive medical care, food, shelter and companionship at a 'Genso-Khang' (care-home for the elderly). Help us to make a real diference in their lives and to show that they have not ben forgotten.
